Online Beatbox Academy
Learn to beatbox – from your first three sounds to your own beat
Ten video lessons, free and without signing up. Built like a real course: one step at a time, with a notation you can read without knowing music.
Start for free
The first ten lessons cost nothing and need no account. No form before the first video.
Our own notation
Our beatbox notation shows timing, breathing and repetitions – without you having to read music.
Straight from the workshops
We have been teaching beatbox in schools and workshops since 2006. This course is that same structure, online.
Never beatboxed before? Start here.
The guide „How to Beatbox in 6 Steps“ gets you to your first beat in about ten minutes: breathing, hi-hat, snare, kick drum, spoken rhythm, final beat. The course then picks up where the guide ends.
The first lessons

Who is behind seboom
seboom is made by Ivory Parker, Andreas Walch and Thomas Rieder. Thomas is a three-time Austrian beatbox champion; his method book „The Real Beatbox School“ is published by Doblinger music publishers. Since 2006 we have been running beatbox workshops in schools, introducing thousands of kids and teenagers to their first beats.
And when the ten lessons are done?
Then the packs of ten continue: inward snare, kick drum workout, dubstep, odd time signatures, masterclass 2, beatbox covers and the Beatorials with guest beatboxers. The packs are coming soon.
